Acupuncture
Acupuncture refers to a whole set of ancient Chinese techniques for promoting and treating health, applied both in prevention and for relieving symptoms.
Although it is a relatively unexplored area in Western medicine, acupuncture has been used for hundreds of years in countries such as China, Japan, Korea, Russia, and others. In recent years, its effectiveness and benefits have been continuously proven by the latest Western research, making it a particularly attractive alternative for clients seeking to prevent future health problems and avoid the typical side effects of traditional medications and aggressive treatments.
Initially, a personalized assessment of the individual is carried out, considering their eating habits, lifestyle, and complaints. After this stage, the pattern is identified within eight energetic principles established by Acupuncture Theory, selecting the points relevant to the treatment. Then, the acupuncturist applies one or more activation techniques to the acupoints, located on energetic lines called channels and meridians distributed throughout the human body.
